I was always reluctant about having anyone babysit my dogs however when I met Emily and Bill they definitely changed my mind. My dogs love them so much and they are so incredible with my dogs. Emily really goes out of her way to play with my dogs besides just feeding them and fluffing their beds. I feel so happy and secure knowing that my dogs are being taken care of by WiseDog Pet Care.

Nick and I could not be happier to have Emily and Bill watch over our sweet puppy while we’re at work! I first found Emily when Nala was just 8 weeks old and brand new to us. Being a first time dog owner, I was very selective with who I would trust to take care of Nala and continue our training with her. As soon as we met Emily and Bill we were sold! Not only do they take great care of Nala-taking her for short walks, playing with her and always making sure she gets her water break from her crate, but they’re always there when we need them! I’ve had many questions for them about training a new puppy and they’ve always steered me in the right direction. Thank you both for always giving us peace of mind while we’re at work

Why use In-YOUR-Home pet care?

Whether you are the parent to a potty training puppy or a slowing-down senior, in-home pet sitting provides the benefit of a set schedule, personalized attention, familiar comforts, minimized exposure to illness, and avoiding the stress of a car ride intensified by an over- or under-stimulating boarding environment. Yes, we get to love on your pup while you’re away, but we also offer so much more.

Because we’ve already met, we’ve observed a baseline behavior for when your furpal feels safe and sound in your presence. This makes it possible to note changes in your best friend's emotional wellbeing when you're away, and identify ways to help.  We’ve talked extensively about your pup’s daily routine, history, likes, dislikes, and quirky character traits.  Who else has that insight?

While we can’t replace you, we welcome the opportunity spoil, cuddle, play, walk, reinforce “good” behaviors, feed, chat (yes, we talk to our furry clients & listen to what they have to say), and even pick up their poo like a personal butler.

What it includes:

The use of safe, nurturing force-free care practices

Available Sunday to Saturday, 365 days a year

5 Time Frames for flexible scheduling

Early Morning: 6:00 am. - 8:00 am.

Late Morning: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Midday: 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Late Afternoon: 3:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.

We do not charge per pet, but rather the time needed to provide a service that meets the client’s requests, the pet’s needs, and our care standards. Our standard visit is 30 minutes, but if you have multiple pets or specific needs, we may require additional time to ensure they receive the proper care without feeling rushed.

Visits can include a walk, mealtime, backyard play, pool time, enrichment activities, or just sitting together for belly rubs and back scratches. Plus, you will always receive a visit update with notes and pictures to ease your worry.

Dog Walking
(for the pet parent whose pup has energy when they don't)

Dog Walking

Why use a Dog Walking service?

As much as you love your pup, taking them for a long walk after a long day isn't always the fun activity it should be for both of you. The guilt pushes you out the door and you rush your buddy to be done already. You come inside, and the task is done, but who really enjoyed it?

It doesn't have to be that way. We can deliver the kind of walk your furpal deserves!

What it includes:

A professional dog walker that uses positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good leash walking behavior.

A professional dog walker who is aware of the risks that accompany dog walks and knows how to handle challenging situations.

A professional dog walker who matches the walk with the dog's needs. A walk is not a one-size-fits-all activity.

A professional dog walker that plans alternate enrichment activities for days where the weather is way too hot or way too rainy.

A professional dog walker that sends visit notes and pictures, after every walk, so that you can share in our walking experience.

**To adhere to our WiseDog standards of care, and out of concern for the pet professional's safety, we cannot walk leash reactive dogs or those that pull to the point it is dangerous for both parties. In terms of walking tools, we will only walk your furry friends using a harness, gentle leader, collar, or martingale with a standard leash.

Words cannot express how thankful we are that we found Bill & Emily to care for our pets. We have one dog and four cats. We have used their services numerous times, both for relief walks/feeds as well as overnight stays some extended stays as long as two weeks as well. Every single time we are able to completely relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that our furry family members are in excellent hands. We receive detailed communication and pictures every day sometimes multiple times a day. They also take care of our trash and plants while we’re away. Our home is also always exactly as we left it and you would never know someone else had been in the house. Our dog absolutely adores both Bill and Emily as do we! We highly recommend their services!

"Emily and Bill have become a quintessential part of not only our work week agenda but in a sense, have become part of our family with the way they care for our dog, Buddy. From the get go, they took the time to get to know our dog on a more personal level along with his routine to keep him healthy and comfortable in stressful situations. We have utilized dog walks, drop-ins, and overnights and all services have been handled with great care. They also remain flexible to our slight schedule changes and fitting us in for last minute requests when we have no other options. They are very trustworthy and we recommend them to anyone with a pet that can be very sensitive and needing a pal/friendly face around. We call Emily the treat lady because she has the best dog snacks for rewarding Buddy’s good behavior. We can honestly say our dog looks forward to them coming for a visit. Thank you both for treating our Buddy like family!"

**Please keep in mind, a 30, 45, or 60-minute visit is the amount of time we will spend with your furkiddo, it is not the length of the walk. Along with a safe area conducive to exercise, your dog's age, health, breed, and Florida's weather will dictate the length of our walk.
